Straight Arrow Fence recently completed a 300′ wood rail fencing job in Parker, Colorado where we added some new fence to their property, for horse pasture.

We used a 3 rail massive wood dowel horse fence. These posts are much larger than the standard dowel fence. The posts are 7″ diameter vs. 5 for the standard. The rails are 5″ diameter vs 3.5″ on the standard. It is has a more substantial look to it as well as considerably stronger.

This is the same fence as the huge project we did in Larkspur, Colorado. All the posts and rails are pressure treated so that the won’t rot out as quickly as a non-treated product, they generally last 20-30 years. This job only took 1 day.
