Straight Arrow Fence enjoys building equestrian fences outdoors in the freezing Colorado wintertime especially when they are as pretty as this horse arena fence project we just finished! We had to clear out the snow on this beautiful horse property in Parker, Colorado prior to installing the fence.

Prior to starting the project the owner walked the property with us to give us a good idea of what kind of fence he wanted and where he wanted to place the fence. After 30 years of building fences for horse arenas we have a real knack for knowing how to build a strong, durable fence that looks great too.

For this wood  fence we used the 3 rail wood dowel for materials in the arena. This type of down is the standard sized dowel with 5″ diameter posts and 3.5″ diameter rails. We also used the same wood dowels for the 2 horse turn out areas.

This was a nice sized fencing project which took about 1400 feet of wood fence to install and ran around 10 days from start to finish.
