This was a large horse fencing job we installed for horse containment as well as the dogs. We used the 4 rail Priefert Ponderosa fence. This fence has a 6″ diameter wood post with a powder coated pipe rail. We added 2×4 welded wire to the fence to keep his dogs in as well.
With this fence the posts were set 10′ apart vs 8′ which is typical for most of our wood and vinyl fences. It is a good fence for livestock containment as well as being very low maintenance.
